David's Chophouse at Prestwick is located at the Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minnesota. Originally the restaurant opened as Axel's which was founded in 1996, with Axel's at Prestwick opening in July of 2005. On March 19, 2012, we changed our name to David's Chophouse. We took this opportunity to change the menu slightly but continue to have several items featured that people have grown to love over the years with a slightly different twist. David's Chophouse has impeccable service and fabulous steaks and chops. The restaurant is open year round and to the public. In addition to being a full service restaurant and bar, David's also features a beautiful appointed ballroom that seats up to 280 people, as well as the Jillian Room, located downstairs, for 90 people and the Jason Room that seats 30 people.
